Manage transactions
Purpose: Manage your buy and sell transactions for the selected security.
To get started, select a security from the list and navigate to the "Transactions" tab. Enter your transactions one by one, specifying the transaction date, number of shares, and transaction amount. For sell transactions, use negative values for the number of shares and the invested amount. Once you've entered all your transactions, click "Save" to store them.
The position table displays your total investment, average purchase price, and total return for the selected security.
Tip: If all securities in a list have transactions, the yearly return of the list will be displayed at the top of the list.
Tip: To view the weight and unrealized P&L of each security, add these columns to your view. If all securities in the list have transactions, the weight of each security will be displayed as well.
Cash position
Purpose: Ensure accurate return calculations for your securities list.
To calculate your portfolio's return, enter your initial cash position (the amount of cash you had before making any trades) and your current cash position. Adjust your current cash position after each trade. The securities list return calculation takes into account the initial cash position, the sum of all current invested amounts plus the current cash position, and the time period from the start date of your cash position until now.
Total Return Securities List
Purpose: Track the return of your portfolio.
This table only makes sense if transactions are set for all securities in the list. The Total Return Securities List table displays the total amount invested (in securities and cash), the total profit or loss, the total return, and the annualized return. The annualized return is the same value displayed at the top of the security list.
Get email notifications for your stocks
What is it? The Notifications feature lets you receive email alerts when a stock meets specific conditions you set up.
How to use it? To start, select a security from the list and go to the "Notifications" tab. Set a buy or sell price limit or create a custom set of conditions. Once you're done, save the conditions.
If a buy or sell price limit is reached, you'll see an icon in the list before the stock. The app will check your conditions once a day and send you an email if there's a match.
Tips: Remember to set up your email address in the account menu to receive notifications. If you check "Send only once", the email will not be sent again until the conditions are updated.
